Privacy and cookies

Site analytics (Google Analytics)

If you click “Accept,” we load Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are useful to you. It sets cookies (_ga) that are kept for 13 months at most, with a truncated IP address. The data is processed by Google Ireland Limited and may be transferred to the United States under the Data Privacy Framework. If you decline, nothing is loaded.

You can change your mind at any time: manage my choices. You will be asked again after 13 months.

What stays on your device

The site stores your analytics choice and the breeds you set aside to compare in your browser’s local storage. This information is not sent to us and is erased when you clear your browsing data.

Your photo in Like Owner, Like Dog

When you start the analysis, the photo is resized on your device, then sent to Claude, the artificial intelligence by Anthropic PBC (United States), to find the breed that looks like you. We do not keep it. Anthropic does not use it to train its models; it may keep it for a limited time, for the security of its service, under its own retention policy. Sending a photo is entirely your choice: only send a photo of yourself, or of someone who has agreed to it.

To limit abuse, the number of tries per IP address is counted for 24 hours, then forgotten.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., which keeps technical logs (IP address, page requested) for the security and proper operation of the service.

Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection provided by the GDPR. Write to us through the Aurora website. You can also file a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority).
