FCI Group 1 brings together dogs born to drive and guard livestock: German, Belgian and Australian Shepherds, Border Collies, Bouviers des Flandres… Intelligent, quick and very attached to their owner, they need physical and mental activity every day. The more massive Swiss mountain dogs are classified in Group 2.
